Submitting to Mukhtasab: Journal of Economics and Islamic Business
Thank you for your interest in submitting to Mukhtasab: Journal of Economics and Islamic Business. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and conceptual papers from scholars, researchers, and students in the fields of Islamic economics, finance, and business. To ensure smooth editorial and peer-review processes, please adhere to the following guidelines.

Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) at the journal's official portal. Authors must register and log in prior to submission. Submissions sent via email will not be processed.

Language and Title
Manuscripts can be written in clear, academic Bahasa Indonesia or English. Authors must ensure linguistic accuracy. The article title should be concise, informative, and limited to a maximum of 15 words.

Abstract and Keywords
Each manuscript must include a well-structured abstract written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (150–250 words). It should summarize the core research background, methodology, findings, and implications, followed by 3 to 5 specific keywords.

Standard Structure
Manuscripts should contain standard elements: Title, Author Information (names, affiliations, corresponding email), Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References. Tables and figures must be clearly numbered, titled, and placed close to the text.

Citation Style (APA 7th)
All in-text citations and reference lists must strictly adhere to the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition style. Authors are highly encouraged to manage their references using standard software such as Mendeley or Zotero.

Ethical Standards & Screening
Submissions must represent original academic work and must not be concurrently submitted elsewhere. Plagiarism or data manipulation will result in immediate rejection. All papers undergo software screening before evaluation.

Peer Review & Fees
Mukhtasab utilizes a rigorous double-blind peer review process by independent experts. Currently, under our open-access policy, the journal does not charge any article processing or publication fees (APC). Accepted articles are published fully free of charge.
