BIDAYAH: Journal of Islamic Studies

is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the study of foundational wisdom, Islamic history and philosophy, and the Muslim world. Inspired by the philosophical concept of Bidayah (the beginning or foundational step), the journal serve as an official platform for academic research, conceptual ideas, and critical discourse that addresses fundamental Islamic tradition, modern intellectual challenges, and global Muslim dynamics.

The journal welcomes original research papers, conceptual studies, and scholarly literature reviews that contribute to advancing knowledge in Islamic thought, education, law, governance, socio-religious phenomena, and contemporary global academic discourse. Primary areas of focus include classical Islamic heritage, spiritual paradigms in modern socio-intellectual contexts, interdisciplinary perspectives on Islam, and global Muslim affairs.
