Rigorous Peer-Review & Scholarly Workflow

BIDAYAH: Journal of Islamic Studies implements a comprehensive and systematic editorial workflow to assure the scientific validity and methodological soundness of every inquiry. We invite scholars and research communities to submit their qualitative or legal-normative manuscripts through the following procedural trajectory:

WORKFLOW
01

Initial Evaluation & Desk Screening

Manuscripts must be submitted digitally via the OJS desk. The managing editors perform an immediate screening concerning scope alignment, structural consistency, and text similarities via anti-plagiarism filters.

02

Double-Blind Peer Arbitration

Qualified papers are assigned blindly to two field experts. Corresponding authors receive critical, evaluative feedback and are given a strict period to perform substantial revisions before editorial determination.

03

Editorial Acceptance & Copyediting

Upon satisfactory rectifications, a formal Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is issued. Authors cooperate with layout designers to clean up typographical discrepancies and format structural layouts.

04

Digital Production & Dissemination

The finalized text is published online as Open Access under a distinct cross-ref DOI identifier, followed by immediate submission to high-tier metadata indexing platforms for global academic impact.

BIDAYAH guarantees academic fairness, uncompromised quality, and global accessibility.
