Operating on a regular triannual schedule, Bidayah releases its issues consecutively in March, July, and November. To ensure the highest academic integrity and objective scrutiny, every manuscript submitted undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer-review system evaluated by international experts in the field.

Established in 2026, the journal strongly advocates for the globalization of Islamic knowledge. In line with open-access paradigms, all published works are instantly accessible under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the study of foundational wisdom, Islamic history and philosophy, and the Muslim world. Inspired by the philosophical concept of Bidayah (the beginning or foundational step), the journal serve as an official platform for academic research, conceptual ideas, and critical discourse that addresses fundamental Islamic tradition, modern intellectual challenges, and global Muslim dynamics.
