Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Rigorous, Structured & Objective Evaluation

Every manuscript submitted to An-Nur: Journal of Education and Learning undergoes a rigorous and highly confidential evaluation. We strictly implement a Double-Blind Peer Review system. Under this policy, both the reviewers' and authors' identities remain completely anonymous throughout the process to guarantee absolute objectivity, fairness, and academic integrity.

1

Initial Desk Evaluation

Upon submission, the editorial board conducts a screening process to verify the manuscript’s alignment with the journal's focus, scope, basic formatting guidelines, and plagiarism threshold. Manuscripts that pass this stage are then assigned to the section editor for peer review.

2

Double-Blind Peer Review

The manuscript is evaluated independently by at least two external experts specializing in education and pedagogy. Reviewers critically assess the study's originality, methodological soundness, clarity of results, and overall contribution to educational scholarship.

Review Outcomes:
Accepted Minor Revision Major Revision Rejected
3

Final Editorial Decision

The Editor-in-Chief scrutinizes the reviewers' feedback and makes the definitive decision. Authors are expected to revise their work according to the constructive remarks. Once fully accepted, the paper is forwarded to layout production for open-access publication.

⏱️ Average Process Duration: 4 – 8 Weeks

Committed to transparency, pedagogical quality, and continuous improvement.
