Publication Ethics
AN-NUR: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards throughout the publishing process. The following ethical guidelines apply to all parties involved: authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.
1. Authors’ Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that the manuscripts they submit are original, free from plagiarism, and have not been submitted to or are under consideration by any other journal. All data presented must be accurate and verifiable, with proper citations given for all referenced works. The names listed as authors must reflect those who have made significant intellectual contributions to the work. Authors are required to clearly state any conflicts of interest and must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission. Should substantial errors or inaccuracies be discovered after publication, authors are expected to promptly notify the editor and cooperate in issuing a correction or retraction.
2. Editorial Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based solely on the academic quality and relevance of the manuscript, without bias regarding the authors’ race, gender, religious belief, ethnicity, nationality, or political philosophy. Editors must ensure that the review process is fair, objective, and confidential. They must not use any unpublished material from submitted manuscripts for personal benefit and are obligated to withdraw from handling a manuscript if they have any conflict of interest.
3. Reviewers’ Responsibilities
Reviewers play a critical role in ensuring the quality of published research. They are expected to review manuscripts objectively, fairly, and in a timely manner. Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and must not share or discuss them with unauthorized individuals. If a reviewer feels unqualified to review the research or detects potential conflicts of interest, they should decline the review. Reviewers are also encouraged to report any form of plagiarism or unethical behavior they may detect.
4. Publisher’s Responsibilities
Yayasan An-Nur Meunara Baro, as the publisher of AN-NUR, is committed to supporting editorial independence and ensuring that ethical standards are upheld in all stages of publication. The publisher guarantees that commercial interests will not influence editorial decisions. In the event of proven ethical misconduct, such as plagiarism or data fabrication, the publisher will take appropriate action, including corrections, retractions, or publishing formal notices when necessary.
