Author Fees

To ensure the sustainability and high-quality management of scholarly publishing, JALALAIN: Journal of Qur’an and Hadith Studies implements a modest Article Processing Fee (APF) for each manuscript accepted for publication. Manuscript submission is completely free of charge and may be submitted at any time through our online system.

Article Publication Fees

  • Domestic Authors (Indonesia): Rp 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Rupiah)

  • International Authors: USD 7 (Seven US Dollars)

The publication fee contributes to covering the following aspects:

  • Editorial and double-blind peer review management
  • Website maintenance and journal hosting
  • DOI assignment and metadata registration
  • Professional layout, proofreading, and publication processing
  • Digital archiving and indexing support

The fee is applicable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. Upon acceptance, authors will receive an official invoice with payment details. In certain justified cases such as authors from underrepresented regions or institutions with limited funding fee waivers or discounts may be granted upon written request.
