JALALAIN: Journal of Qur’an and Hadith is a peer-reviewed and open-access academic journal committed to advancing research and critical inquiry in the fields of Qur’anic and Hadith studies. Published under the institutional auspices of Yayasan An-Nur Meunara Baro, the journal provides a scholarly forum for the exploration of the Qur’an and Hadith from diverse methodological, historical, linguistic, and interpretive perspectives. It aims to bridge traditional Islamic scholarship with contemporary academic thought, fostering a deeper understanding of the sacred texts and their relevance to modern contexts.

Topics may include, but are not limited to, tafsir (exegesis), qira’at (variant readings), ulum al-Qur’an, the compilation and transmission of hadith, methodologies of criticism, comparative interpretations, and the application of Qur’anic and Hadith teachings in present-day life. Through its commitment to open-access publishing, the journal promotes the free exchange of ideas and aims to enrich the global discourse on Islamic textual studies. All manuscripts submitted to JALALAIN undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to maintain academic quality and integrity. Articles may be written in Indonesian or English.
